Chris Miller

Chris Miller has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on medicinal chemistry and intellectual property strategy. Chris has held various roles at different companies, including Nuvation Bio where they currently serve as the Vice President of Chemistry. In their previous role at Radius Health, Inc, they were the Executive Director of R&D Innovation, providing strategic guidance in the R&D and intellectual property areas. Before that, they worked as a Director in Intellectual Property Strategy at Abbvie. Chris also has experience as an Associate Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Wyeth, where they were involved in the discovery and invention of the osteoporosis drug bazedoxifene. Additionally, they have served as an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University School of Law and worked as a MedChem and IP Strategy Consultant at Miller Pharma Services.

Chris Miller earned a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh between 1989 and 1993. Later, they attended the Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law from 1996 to 2001, earning a JD in Law (Evening Division). Additionally, they hold Bar Memberships and is currently licensed as a member of the Pennsylvania State Bar (#90761) and USPTO (#55852).
