Jean-Yves Maziere

Jean-Yves Maziere, MD, MS, currently serves as Vice President of Pharmacovigilance at Nuvation Bio since October 2024. Previously, Jean-Yves held the position of Head of Product Safety and Pharmacovigilance at Caribou Biosciences from April 2023 to October 2024 and worked as Medical Director of Pharmacovigilance at Astellas Pharma from November 2018 to April 2023. Jean-Yves's experience also includes Medical Director roles at PPD and a Manager position in Drug Safety at Boehringer Ingelheim - Roxane Laboratories. Prior to these roles, Jean-Yves offered consulting services to the pharmaceutical industry and served as Associate Director at Laboratoire Deledalle. Educational qualifications include a Specialized Medicine Diploma in Clinical Pathology with a sub-specialization in Hematology and a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Université d'Angers, along with a Master's degree in Biomedical Science specializing in Biostatistics, Clinical Trials, Epidemiology, and Evolutive Anatomy from the same institution, as well as foundational medical education from Université Paris Cité.
