Mike Humphries

Mike Humphries currently serves as VP Head of Medical Affairs at Nuvation Bio since May 2024. Prior to this role, Mike was VP Head of US Medical Affairs at AnHeart Therapeutics from October 2022 to May 2024, and previously held leadership positions at Takeda Oncology, including Head of Lung Cancer - Global Medical Affairs and US Scientific Director, Lung Cancer from February 2017 to October 2022. Mike's extensive experience includes developing medical affairs strategies, managing key opinion leader engagement, and overseeing various oncology projects. Earlier roles included Associate Director at Takeda Oncology and ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, as well as Medical Science Liaison positions at Bayer HealthCare and ArrayBiopharma. Mike earned a PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center and a BA in Biology from Western Colorado University.
