Abigail Dean

Abigail Dean currently serves as the Head of Strategic Insights and Head of Sustainability for Real Assets at Nuveen, a TIAA company, since January 2019. Prior to this role, Abigail was the Head of Sustainability at TIAA Henderson Real Estate from July 2016 to January 2019, where responsibilities included developing and overseeing the sustainability strategy for the global business. From October 2006 to July 2016, Abigail held multiple positions at JLL, including Head of Sustainability in Property and Asset Management, focusing on sustainability strategy, client relationships, and leadership. Earlier experience includes a research and marketing internship at the Corporate Citizenship Company and a role as Conference Producer and Event Manager at Marketforce Business Media Ltd. Abigail holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from The University of Sheffield, graduating in 2002, and attended St Albans High Schools for Girls from 1992 to 1999.
