Anthony Mark Garcia

Anthony Mark Garcia is a seasoned professional in investment stewardship and responsible investing, currently serving as the Senior Director at Nuveen since 2018. With a focus on corporate engagement, proxy voting, and ESG analysis, Garcia leads the execution of Nuveen's stewardship program and enhances company ESG reporting. Prior experience includes roles as a Policy Advisor at ISS, where Garcia contributed to corporate governance policy, and an Account Executive at FactSet, specializing in legal research for M&A and corporate governance. Garcia's earlier career includes positions in legal intern roles at prominent organizations, including the International Criminal Court and Human Rights Watch, as well as teaching and coaching at The Pingry School. Anthony holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and a B.A. in Economics and Hispanic Studies from Hamilton College.
