Jeff Darfus

Jeff Darfus, CFA, is a Senior Investment Performance Analytics Analyst at Nuveen, a TIAA company, since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Barclays Corporate & Investment Bank, where Jeff served as an AVP - High Yield and Leveraged Loan Credit Strategist and as an Analyst in the same field from July 2019 to March 2023. Jeff's analytical skills were developed further during a summer internship as a Credit Research Summer Analyst at Barclays Investment Bank in 2018, focusing on credit analysis and investment opportunities. In 2017, a position as a Junior Data Scientist at Vertiv Co involved SQL data analysis and process automation. Early career experience also includes an internship with the Fixed Income Management Group and a role as a Pro Shop Assistant at Bent Tree Golf Club. Jeff holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Business Analytics from Ohio University, completed in 2019.
