Alex Hoog

Alex Hoog has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Most recently, in 2023, they worked at Nuvitek as a Senior Business Analyst, focusing on Agile Product Development. Alex'sresponsibilities included refining the backlog, capturing and maintaining requirements, and translating requirements into design documentation.

Prior to that, from 2021 to 2023, Alex worked at DISYS as a Product Owner for Trading Technology, where they collaborated with the Product Development team to plan and coordinate backlog items.

From 2019 to 2021, Alex was employed at CGI as a Consultant and Business Systems Analyst, contributing to various projects.

Before that, they worked at Verizon from 2016 to 2018 as a Business Analyst Finance, supporting the AP Financial Transformation team.

Alex also has experience in the insurance industry, having worked at Farmers Insurance from 2015 to 2016 as an Agent and Marketing Coordinator.

Additionally, they have held positions at Prosperity Bank as a Bank Teller, Lowe's Home Improvement as a Head Cashier, and Carthage Schools as a Summer Maintenance worker.

In 2010, Alex worked as a Telephone Sales Representative at TCIM, selling products and services over the phone. Alex also briefly worked as a Portrait Photographer at Lifetouch the same year.

Alex Hoog has a diverse education history. They obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Finance, and Strategy from Missouri Southern State University, completing their studies from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued studies in Visual and Performing Arts at Savannah College of Art and Design from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, they attended the University of Oklahoma in 2010-2011 and focused on Journalism.

Alex also obtained a High School Diploma with a focus on College Preparation from Webb City High School, where they studied from 2005 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Alex has obtained certifications in Lean Technology Strategy: Moving Fast With Defined Constraints from LinkedIn in March 2023, and the SAFe 4 Practitioner Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2019.
