Barak Laish

Barak Laish is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in building and maintaining data platforms, advanced algorithms, and machine learning models. Currently serving as the Data Science Team Leader at Nuvo Cares since May 2019, Barak has demonstrated expertise in scalable data processing and analytics. Previous roles include Data Scientist at ElMindA, where Barak specialized in data analytics with MongoDB on AWS and developed auto-ML tools, and Support Engineer at ATS, focusing on image processing systems. Early career experience as an Algorithm Developer at Intellimedi involved developing software and algorithms for bone fusion measurement devices. Barak holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Master of Science in Biomedical Image Processing from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
