Meera Montan, MPH has held a variety of positions in the public health sector since 1999. In 1999, they worked as a Research Assistant for the Pan American Health Organization, analyzing field study data to determine diabetes prevalence and associated risk factors in Bolivia. In 2000, they worked as a Marketing and Reproductive Health Technical Advisor for Population Services International in New Delhi, India, where they co-led the launch of USAID-funded PSI operations and launched a public/private sector social franchised network of 96 health outlets. Meera also worked as a Senior Program Assistant for Population Services International in East and Southern Africa, providing programmatic and financial management to PSI programs to support HIV/AIDS and malaria prevention projects. From 2010-2011, they were a Strategy Consultant for the FAS- Swedish Council for Working Life and Social Research and a Project Leader in Innovation for Qulturum, Region Jönköpings län, where they supported strategies for innovation and rapid spread of successful practices in healthcare across Sweden. From 2016-2018, they were the Director of Partnerships for Genia Upstream Dream. In 2018, they co-founded and led the operations of EatUniQ, a start-up connecting curious eaters to home chefs from other cultures for a food-based cultural exchange. In 2020, they held positions as the Associate Director of Marketing and Director of Community Engagement for NuvoAir.

Meera Montan holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, which they received in 2000. Meera also holds a BA from The George Washington University, which they received in 1997. Her BA was in International Affairs, with a concentration in Development Economics.
