Laurence Houlbert

Laurence Houlbert has extensive experience in compliance and financial analysis roles. They started their career in 2005 as a Financial Analyst at CMA CGM (America) LLC and later worked as a Financial Analyst EMEA at Tyco Flow Controls. In 2010, Laurence joined Pentair as a Senior Corporate Auditor and eventually transitioned to the role of Senior Manager, Third-Party Compliance. In 2018, they moved to nVent as a Senior Manager, Global Compliance and later became a Senior Manager, Compliance. Currently, Laurence is working at nVent as a Compliance Director, where they oversee various areas such as Ethics & Compliance, Anti-Corruption, and Third-Party Risk Management. They are also involved in audit and monitoring activities, M&A due diligence, and integration efforts. Additionally, Laurence plays an active role in driving the ESG and sustainability strategy of the company.

Laurence Houlbert holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Old Dominion University, which was obtained from 2003 to 2005. They also have an MBA in General studies from the same university, earned between 2001 and 2002. Laurence received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and International Business from EM Normandie Business School, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their educational background, Laurence Houlbert has obtained the certification of Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional - International from the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) in October 2021.
