Lifu Tom Zhang

Lifu Tom Zhang is a Senior Deep Learning Architect at NVIDIA since March 2020, previously holding the position of Deep Learning Architect. Lifu completed a Master of Applied Science in Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto, where research focused on improving deep neural network training methods, achieving significant advancements in training time and memory efficiency. Lifu has also gained experience as a Teaching Assistant for various machine learning courses and as a Hardware Engineering Intern at NVIDIA, where Lifu conducted feasibility studies and developed RTL designs. Additional experience includes an internship at Intel Corporation, where software for signal integrity analysis was developed, and roles in web analysis at Intrafinity Inc. Lifu holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto and has a background as Finance Manager for the Skule Stage Band, contributing to budget proposals and event logistics.
