Sergio Jr. Ancao

Sergio Jr. Ancao has worked in the telecommunications industry since 2005. Sergio Jr. began their career at Digitel Mobile Philippines Inc. - SUN CELLULAR as a 3G Radio Network Planning & Optimization Engineer. In 2009, they moved to Saudi Telecom Company (Huawei) as a Senior 3G RF Radio Network Planning & Optimization Engineer, where they successfully initiated and implemented the use of U-Net 2.2 in RNP and RNO Team to provide prediction for 3G signal coverage based RSCP for 355 sites in Bahrain. In 2011, they joined True Move (Huawei) as a 3G OSS KPI Optimization Engineer, where they created new raw counters and formula to M2000 based on updated Huawei KPI counters. From 2014-2015, they worked at both Maxis and Telkomsel as a 3G Senior KPI Optimization Engineer and Senior 3G RF Optimization Engineer, respectively. In 2015, they joined Huawei Technologies as a Senior 3G/LTE RF Optimization Engineer, where they acted as Team Leader for 6 RNOs for Petal Project (6-Sector 3G U2100 Dual Beam Antenna Change-out) and 12 RNOs for Diamond Project (GSM900/UMTS900/LTE700 Antenna Change-out) and Massive Mimo Project (LTE 2600 Rollout). In 2018, they moved to Metrotel Communications as a Senior RF/RNO Engineer and is currently employed at Nwave Technologies as a Senior Radio Frequency Optimization Engineer.

Sergio Jr. Ancao attended Roosevelt College Marikina from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Sergio Jr. then attended Central Colleges of the Philippines from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering.
