Laura Hansen

Laura Hansen has a diverse work experience in the field of education and assessment. Laura currently works at NWEA as a Senior Director, Content Connections. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Manager, Content, and Curriculum Advocacy, ELA at NWEA. Before joining NWEA, Laura worked as an Independent Consultant for Laura Hansen Consulting, specializing in English Language Arts. Laura also gained significant experience at Student Achievement Partners, where they served as a Senior Literacy Assessment Specialist for eight years. Earlier in their career, Laura worked at ETS in various roles, including Assessment Specialist IV and Executive Director of Assessment Development. Laura started their professional journey at Harcourt Assessment as an Assessment Specialist.

Laura Hansen completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Education at The University of Texas at San Antonio from 1986 to 1991. Laura also holds a certification as a Reading Specialist from the State of Texas.
