Juri Strumpflohner

Juri Strumpflohner has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and technology. Juri is currently working as the Sr. Director of Developer Experience at Nx, where they are responsible for leading the company's global developer relation efforts, content and marketing strategy, and public relations. Prior to this, they held the role of Director of Developer Experience and Director of Engineering at Nrwl, where they managed the company's European employees and helped determine the marketing strategy and expand the client base in Europe.

Juri has also worked as an Engineering Manager and JavaScript Architect at Nrwl, where they worked on open-source developer tooling and collaborated with clients to build high-quality software. Juri was also a Cypress Ambassador at Cypress.io, where they contributed to the community program. Additionally, Juri has been recognized as a Google Developer Expert in Web Technologies, specializing in Angular, and has contributed to the developer community through speaking at conferences, publishing videos and tutorials, and mentoring developers and startups.

Juri has also worked as an Egghead.io Instructor, where they published high-quality web development screencasts, and as a Meetup Organizer for the Software Craftsmanship South Tyrol group. In their early career, Juri worked as a Frontend Architect at R3 GIS and as a Software Architect/Tech Lead and Software Developer at Informatica Alto Adige Spa. Juri gained experience in application architecture, .Net technology stack, and JavaScript rich web clients.

Juri has also contributed to the technical community as a Technical Reviewer for Packt Publishing and has authored video courses and books on Angular components and directives. Juri started their career at Raiffeisen Informatik, where they gained experience in user assistance, database administration, and software development.

Juri Strumpflohner completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano from 2004 to 2007. Juri then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering and Computer Science from the same university, which they completed from 2008 to 2011.
