Andries Rienks

Andries Rienks has extensive experience in the field of process automation and control. Andries currently works as the Manager Process & Automation at NX Filtration. Prior to that, they held various positions at FrieslandCampina, including Senior Operational Technology Specialist and Manager EPC - Process Automation and Control. Before joining FrieslandCampina, Andries worked at Norit Process Technology as a Lead Engineer Process Automation. Andries also gained experience as a Lead Engineer Industrial Automation at MPE Twente (IACT) and as an Engineer Process Automation at Norit Process Technology. Andries started their career as an Automation Engineer at Leushuis Projects & Engineering.

Andries Rienks attended Friesland College from 1988 to 1991, where they studied Industrial Automation. Andries then went on to pursue their Bachelor's degree in Physics - Industrial (Process) Automation from Saxion University of Applied Sciences, graduating in 1995. In 2015, they obtained a certification as a MTB2 Instructeur from Wielersportbond NTFU.
