Jayesh Patel

Jayesh Patel is a seasoned professional in the field of protein engineering, currently serving as Director of Protein Engineering at Nxera Pharma since April 2024. Prior to this role, Jayesh held various positions at Sosei Heptares, including Director, Associate Director, and Principal Scientist from December 2018 to April 2024, and worked at Heptares from May 2009 to December 2018 as Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist. Jayesh began a career in research at Yale University School of Medicine, gaining experience as an Associate Research Scientist and Post-doctoral Associate from 2002 to 2009. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology from Yale University and a BSc in Biochemistry from Imperial College London, with additional studies at University College London.
