Sean Conway has over 10 years of professional experience in engineering and related fields. Sean began their career in 2010 as a Rental Tent Engineer at Taylor Rental. In 2013, they took on the role of Mechanical Engineering and Controls Intern at The Brewer-Garrett Company. In 2014, they were a Project Mechanical Engineer Co-Op at Ulliman Schutte Construction, a Tutor and Physics Research at the University of Dayton, and a Student Lab Technician Structure and Materials Evaluation Group at the University of Dayton Research Institute. In 2015, they worked as a Research and Design Conveyor Engineer Co-Op at Intelligrated. In 2016, they were a Mechanical Engineer at Newspapers Solutions Inc (NSi), a Makerspace Supervisor and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Dayton. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at Ford Motor Company as a Ford Performance Senior Chassis Engineer, Ford Peformance Chassis Engineer & Program Management Team (PMT), Crash Safety Engineer, and Ford Performance Interior Engineer and Program Management Team (PMT). Sean is currently employed at Atlis Motor Vehicles as Chief Vehicle Engineer and Director of Vehicle Development.

Sean Conway attended St. Edward High School from 2008-2012, where they earned their High School Diploma. Sean then went on to attend the University of Dayton from 2012-2016, earning a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following this, they returned to the University of Dayton from 2016-2017 to obtain a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Lastly, they are currently enrolled at MIT xPRO, where they are working towards a degree in Architecture and Systems Engineering.
