Salma Aldawood

Salma Al Dawood currently serves as Chief Intelligence Officer and Head of Data Science at nybl since March 2021, bringing significant expertise from previous roles including software developer and AI team member. Prior to nybl, Salma was a software developer at KACST from August 2013 to March 2021, contributing to large-scale software systems for Saudi government entities, and also served as a research associate at the Center of Complex Engineering Systems, collaborating with MIT on complex systems research. Additionally, experience includes research affiliation at MIT's Institute for Data, Systems, and Society, and earlier IT support roles at KFUPM as well as summer internships at Saudi Aramco. Salma holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carleton University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from King Saud University, along with an AI for Business Nanodegree from Udacity.
