Gunta Abika

Gunta Abika has a strong background in supply chain management and international logistics. Gunta has held various managerial roles in different companies throughout their career. Their most recent position was as the Head of Supply Chain divisions / General Management Procurist at Nybo Workwear A/S starting in 2017. Prior to that, they were the Head of EMEA Transport Network and International Logistics at The Body Shop from 2015 to 2016. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as the International Logistics and Customer Service Manager at CYTEC INDUSTRIES. Gunta also has experience with A.P. Moller - Maersk, where they served as the Customer Service Manager for the Baltic countries and was a Board Member from 2006 to 2012. Before that, they worked at P&O Nedlloyd as the Shipment Management Manager from 2005 to 2006 and as the Business Change Manager and Export Executive from 2001 to 2004.

Gunta Abika attended the University of Latvia Faculty of Business, Management and Economics, where they studied in the Faculty of Business Economy. Gunta also enrolled in the Faculty of literature and humanitarian studies at Latvijas Universitate. Additionally, Gunta received supportive professional training, although the field of study for this program is unspecified.
