Malene Gregersen

Malene Gregersen has over 30 years of experience in the fashion industry. Malene has held various roles in companies such as Nybo Workwear A/S, DK Company A/S, Marcus Gruppen, and Freelance. Throughout their career, they have worked as a Head of Research, Design & Product Development, Design Manager, Head of Design, Fashion Designer, and Substitute Teacher, among other positions. Malene'sresponsibilities have included managing design teams, overseeing all aspects of design and development for collections, conducting trend and color research, and optimizing fits for various clothing categories. Additionally, they have experience in sourcing, price negotiation, and securing style updates. Malene has also worked with international clients and taught courses in computerized design, patternmaking, and technical design. Malene is skilled in creating technical sketches and maintaining fabric libraries.

Malene Gregersen's education history begins in 1991 when they attended TEKO Center Danmark. Malene completed their studies there in 1994 and obtained a degree as a Skilled Seamstress. Following this, from 1994 to 1995, they enrolled in Herning Højskole to further their understanding of Fashion/Apparel Design. In 1995, they began attending VIA University College, where they pursued a degree in Fashion Design & Product development, specializing in Apparel & Fashion design. Malene Gregersen's education continued at the Fashion Institute of Technology from 1997 to 1998, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Fashion Design/Art.
