Stephan van der Walt

Stephan van der Walt is an accomplished cybersecurity and network engineering professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Cybersecurity and Principal Network Engineer at Sizwe Africa IT Group since September 2017, Stephan leads a team focused on Cisco Security products and serves as a principal solutions architect. Previously, Stephan held the role of Senior Fellow - Engineering at NybSys and Principal Network Engineer for Elimu Technology Solutions, where consulting for the South African Police Service on Cisco and Huawei products was a key responsibility. Additional experience includes significant roles at Sizwe Africa IT Group, 3Com, Gijima, and Sourcecom. Educational qualifications include a BSc Honours degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Stellenbosch University.
