Lauren Sharpe

Lauren Sharpe is an experienced teaching artist with a diverse background in arts education and community engagement. Since September 2010, Lauren has served as a teaching artist at The New Victory Theater, and also holds similar roles at New York City Ballet, Spellbound Theatre, and Brooklyn Academy of Music. In addition to teaching, Lauren is currently the Executive Assistant to the Co-Founder at Waterwell and Co-Chair of the Social Action Committee for PTA OF PS 261K. Previous experience includes working as a pediatric hospital clown at Healthy Humor, Inc., and serving as an abortion doula with THE DOULA PROJECT INC. Lauren's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from Indiana University Bloomington.
