Carol Dalgarno is a Research Associate at the New York Genome Center, specializing in multimodal single cell sequencing methods since June 2021. Prior to this role, Carol served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Wesleyan University, focusing on molecular genetics and molecular dynamics simulations. Additional experience at Wesleyan includes positions as a Course Assistant, where Carol taught introductory biology lab techniques, and as a Biology Peer Tutor, providing support in Introductory Biology and Cell Biology. Previous to these roles, Carol participated in the Summer Research Program at Columbia University and worked as a Summer Camp Counselor at Farm and Wilderness, planning outdoor education activities for young children. Carol holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Wesleyan University and graduated from Brookline High School in 2017.
