Gabriel G. Perron

Visiting Researcher at The New York Genome Center

Gabriel G. Perron is an accomplished researcher and academic with extensive experience in the fields of biology, evolutionary biology, and microbiology. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai since July 2022, Gabriel also holds positions as a Visiting Researcher at both New York University and the New York Genome Center since September 2021. As an Associate Professor of Biology at Bard College since January 2015, and previously as an Assistant Professor of Biology, Gabriel has a strong academic presence. Prior research experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Ottawa and a Research Fellow at Harvard University, along with a Visiting Research Fellow position at Imperial College London. Gabriel's academic credentials include a DPhil from the University of Oxford, a Master's degree from McGill University, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from McGill University.
