Johannes Losert

Johannes Losert is currently serving as a STEP Intern on the CI/CD team at Google since May 2023. Additionally, since September 2022, Johannes has been a Research Lab Assistant at the Gursoy Lab within the New York Genome Center, focusing on implementing differential privacy for federated learning on the blockchain. Previously, from May 2022 to August 2022, Johannes participated in the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), where research involved detecting AI Trojans as part of the TrojAI competition. Johannes holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University and a High School Diploma & Abitur from the German International School Washington D.C. Educational pursuits also include studies at the University of Maryland.
