Skylar Li

Skylar Li is a skilled computational biologist currently working at the New York Genome Center since July 2023. Skylar serves as the Director at Atelier Basi, a non-profit initiative launched to provide free mentorship to high school students from underrepresented areas aspiring to study abroad. Previous roles include an undergraduate research assistant at Columbia Engineering, a summer research associate at AllianceBernstein focusing on the US medical devices sector, a software engineer intern at PlayStation, and an R&D intern at Procter & Gamble. Skylar also has experience as a campus tour guide at Columbia University, a research assistant at UTEC, a product management intern at CyberAgent, Inc., and a data analyst intern at Empath Inc. Skylar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Columbia University (2019-2023).
