Connie A. Rojas

Connie A. Rojas is a senior scientist and computational biologist at AnimalBiome since May 2023. Prior to this role, Rojas worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Davis, from May 2021 to June 2023 and completed doctoral studies at Michigan State University from August 2015 to April 2021, focusing on microbiome sequencing, bioinformatics, and data analysis. Rojas has also served as a teaching assistant and an instructor within various educational programs, and gained research experience at multiple institutions including the UNAM Institute of Ecology and Wayne State University School of Medicine. Rojas holds a Ph.D. in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior from Michigan State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology from Wellesley College, graduating cum laude.
