Håvard Molversmyr's work experience begins in 2017 when they worked as a Fundraiser for Greenpeace for a period of two months. In the same year, they also served as a Consultant for Rogaland fylkeskommune for another two months. Håvard continued working as a Consultant for the same company in 2018, 2019, and 2020, with each role lasting for two months. In 2019, they also took on the role of Teacher Assistant at NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences, where they worked until the end of 2020. Most recently, in 2021, Håvard Molversmyr joined Nykode Therapeutics as a Bioinformatics Scientist.
Håvard Molversmyr has a diverse educational background. Håvard started their studies in 2015 at NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a focus on Ecology, Evolution, and Biodiversity. During their undergraduate years, they also participated in a Study Abroad program at James Cook University, further expanding their knowledge in the field of Biology.
In 2018, Håvard pursued Single Subject Studies at NMBU, concentrating on Mathematics and Natural Sciences. This allowed him to enhance their skills in mathematical analysis and scientific principles.
Continuing their academic journey, Håvard went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Bioinformatics and Applied Statistics at NMBU from 2019 to 2021. This program equipped him with the necessary knowledge and skills to analyze biological data and apply statistical methods to solve complex problems in the field of bioinformatics.
In addition to their formal education, Håvard Molversmyr has also obtained two certifications. In September 2017, they completed a Safe Snake Handling Course through Hands on Wildlife, developing practical skills in handling and interacting safely with snakes. Håvard also obtained a Damage Mitigation Permit from the Queensland Government, Department of Environment and Heritage Protection, in the same month and year, demonstrating their knowledge and expertise in managing and mitigating damages caused by wildlife.
With their educational background and certifications, Håvard is well-prepared to contribute to the fields of biology, ecology, evolution, bioinformatics, and applied statistics, while also having specialized skills in handling snakes and mitigating wildlife-related damages.
