Chris Aylott has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Chris started their career as an IT Manager at Garbutt & Elliott LLP, where they transformed the IT department, improved business processes, and played a key role in office relocations and mergers.

Afterward, they worked as a Captain at Pirates Inc. before joining Hewlett-Packard Financial Services as a Project Manager, overseeing the IT infrastructure transition for Shell Canary Wharf office.

Chris then joined Odgers Berndtson as a Technical Architect, followed by positions at Nimble Storage, which was later acquired by Hewlett Packard Enterprise. During their time at Nimble Storage, they held multiple roles, including Support and Operations Lead, Technical Trainer, Product Manager, and Developer Support Engineer.

Their next role was at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Change Management Specialist. Chris utilized their previous experience to effectively manage change within the organization.

Chris's most recent position is at Nylas, where they serve as the Operations Lead. Chris was the first employee in Europe and played an instrumental role in building the EU developer support team. Chris also focused on scaling the company for enterprise by developing tools and automation.

Chris Aylott attended the University of Leeds from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Meng degree in Mechatronics. Chris has also obtained certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2020, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in 2008, and ITIL Practitioner certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Additionally, they have certifications in Prince2 and Agile Practitioner.
