Ahmad Makkouk

Ahmad Makkouk has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role being as a Project Management Officer & PCI DSS Manager at NymCard since November 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Teltac World Wide for over 12 years as the Chief Technical Officer, where they led solutions in the telecom sector across Africa. Their responsibilities included providing voice gateway solutions, SMS solutions, and anti-fraud solutions for telco and mobile operators. Before Teltac, Ahmad was a Technical Manager at Splendor Telecom from April 2003 to July 2006, and a Corporate Solutions Manager at Fiberlink Networks ISP from February 2000 to March 2003. Ahmad started their career as a Corporate Projects Unit Engineer at DataNet/Inconet ISP in 1998.

Ahmad Makkouk has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Lebanese American University. Ahmad completed this degree from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a Lebanese BACC II degree from HHSII in 1993. In addition to their degrees, Ahmad has also earned certification in ITIL Foundation V3 from PEOPLECERT in December 2016.
