iT Manager at Nymi

Renae MacLeod has a long and varied work experience in the IT industry. Renae began their career in 1998 as a Senior Technician at Carbon Computing, providing Apple Care hardware support, managing and maintaining the internal network, and providing on-site and depot technical support for hardware and software issues. In 2000, they took on the role of Head of Game Technology at Cyber Champions Corporation, directing the implementation of the gaming network and configuration of the client and server machines for all the World Cyber Games events across Canada. In 2001, they moved to TorontoHarbour.com as the IT Director and Project Manager, helping to start up the internet division and later managing a staff of as many as 10 people tasked with designing web sites for primarily the harbour cruise business. In 2002, they held two roles at once, Associate System Administrator at Modem Media and Support Technician at FastVibe, where they were responsible for monitoring live horse racing streams from across the globe. In 2005, they became the Primary System Administrator at Pseudo Interactive, where they managed a staff of as many as 10 people tasked with designing web sites. In 2009, they took on the role of Director of Information Technology at GJP Advertising, auditing and rebuilding the IT department from the ground up. In 2010, they moved to Blammo Worldwide as Director of Information Technology, where they were solely responsible for managing the company's IT needs from purchasing and dealing with the various SLA contracts to supporting the users with daily issues from their workstations to the phone system. In 2014, they became the IT Manager at Nymi, and since 1997, they have been providing technology and 3D printing support to friends and businesses on a referral basis.
