Daniela Calcagni

Daniela Calcagni is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as an Emergency Room Charge Nurse and previously as an Emergency Room RN at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital since October 2022. Prior experience includes working as a BMT/Hematology/Oncology Nurse at NYU Langone Health, where Daniela provided treatment and education to patients with complex medical needs. Additional roles include a Medical Assistant at MedRite Urgent Care and a series of teaching positions, culminating as a mentor teacher and grade level chair in various charter schools, where significant improvements in student proficiency were achieved. Daniela holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing, a Master's in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education, and a Bachelor's degree in History of Science and Medicine and Spanish from Bucknell University.
