Dr. Rock G. Positano

Dr. Rock G. Positano serves as the Director of the Non-Surgical Foot and Ankle Center and the Joe DiMaggio Heel Pain Center at the Hospital for Special Surgery, with a career spanning from January 1991 to the present. In addition, Dr. Positano holds the position of Director of the Non-Surgical Foot and Ankle Service in the Department of Orthopaedics. Since September 1994, Dr. Positano has also been associated with the Foot and Ankle Center at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Health with honors from Yale School of Medicine/Yale School of Public Health, a Master of Science in Environmental Medicine/Occupational Medicine from New York University, a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, and a Bachelor of Arts from New York University. Dr. Positano further attained a Doctor of Science degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
