Freddy Mejias

Freddy Mejias serves as a Security Analyst for Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc., since September 2022, where responsibilities include managing over 250 accounts with Microsoft Defender 365 and enhancing email security to combat phishing threats. Concurrently, Freddy has been a Patient Registrar at New York-Presbyterian Hospital since November 2016, focusing on updating patient information and aiding in medical form comprehension. A brief stint as a Software Engineer at HireArt in early 2023 involved active participation in agile sprints and the development of a self-serve holiday calendar using Ruby on Rails. Freddy is pursuing a Certification in Cybersecurity at SANS Technology Institute, following a Cybersecurity Program at NYU School of Professional Studies and holding a Bachelor's degree from Queens College.
