Fungai Paraiwa

Fungai Paraiwa has extensive work experience in the mining and steelmaking industry. Starting in 2002 at Zimbabwe Mining and Smelting Company, they held roles in process engineering improvement and business options analysis. Moving on to OneSteel in 2014, they managed basic oxygen steelmaking operations and served as a principal process engineer. From 2018 at Liberty in Australia, Fungai held roles in continuous improvement, technology and development management, and secondary operations management. They are currently a Principal Continuous Improvement at Nyrstar, showcasing a strong background in operations and process management.

Fungai Paraiwa completed a Bachelor of Science Honors in Metallurgical Engineering at the University of Zimbabwe from 1994 to 1997. Subsequently, from 2004 to 2005, Fungai pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Midlands State University. In 2024, Fungai obtained a certification in Leading Continuous Improvement from INSEAD Executive Education.
