James Poniewozik

James Poniewozik is a prominent television critic and journalist with extensive experience in media criticism. Currently serving as the Chief Television Critic for The New York Times since September 2015, Poniewozik is also the author of "Audience of One: Donald Trump, Television, and the Fracturing of America," published on September 10, 2019. Previously, Poniewozik held the position of Chief Television Critic at Time Magazine, where responsibilities included writing the column "Tuned In," covering pop culture, politics, and society, as well as blogging on related topics. Additional experience includes a role as Media Columnist at Salon and Assistant Editor at MLA.
