Jessica Metzger

Jessica Metzger currently serves as the Managing Editor for The Headlines at The New York Times, with a previous role as Senior Editor for Audio. Prior to this, Jessica was a Senior Producer at School of Humans, overseeing podcasts produced in collaboration with iHeartMedia and Curiosity Stream. Experience includes a Senior Consultant position at Ipsos Strategy3, and various producing roles at CNN, where Jessica excelled as Executive Producer for "Inside Politics with John King" and contributed to "Wolf" and other notable programs. Earlier career highlights include production leadership at Georgia Public Broadcasting and extensive work as an Anchor Producer at CNN across multiple programs. Jessica holds a Master's degree in American Government from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Westminster College.
