Julie Davis is currently the Deputy Editor of the Washington Bureau at The New York Times. Julie has been with The New York Times since April 2014, but prior to that they were a political reporter for Bloomberg from January 2011 to April 2014. Julie is the author of "Border Wars: Inside Trump's Assault on Immigration," which was published on October 8, 2019.
Before joining Bloomberg, Julie was a political reporter for The Associated Press from February 2007 to December 2010. Prior to that, they were the White House Correspondent for The Baltimore Sun from June 2002 to January 2007. Her first job in journalism was as a Senior Writer for Congressional Quarterly from September 1997 to May 2002, where they reported and wrote for CQ Weekly magazine.
