Libby Peterson

Libby Peterson is a seasoned editorial professional with extensive experience in journalism, currently serving as a Senior Staff Editor at The New York Times since May 2022, focusing on the News Print Hub. Prior roles include Staff Editor for Special Sections and Metro at The New York Times, and various editorial positions at Rangefinder Magazine, including Senior Editor, Features Editor, and Associate Editor from January 2014 to March 2022. Additionally, Libby held editorial roles at SUITED Magazine, Rangefinder Magazine, Bloom Magazine, and gained early experience as a Managing Editor at 812: The Magazine of Southern Indiana, as well as positions at WTIU Public Television and Indiana Daily Student. Libby holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and French from Indiana University Bloomington.
