Matt Purdy is the Deputy Managing Editor at The New York Times. Prior to their current role, Purdy served as the Startup Program Manager for MassChallenge from October 2018 to October 2021, where they oversaw the HealthTech and FinTech programs. From June 2017 to September 2017, Purdy interned at Consigli Construction Co., Inc. as a Project Management Intern, coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to see the completion of construction related tasks. In 2016, Purdy worked as an Investment Analyst at HOF Capital from June to September, analyzing over 25 potential investments and developing comprehensive risk analysis and growth potential reports.
