Rob Bond, CPRE, AFO, has extensive experience in aquatic operations and education, currently serving as the Superintendent of Aquatic & Maintenance Operations at Oak Brook Park District since July 2018 after previously holding the position of Aquatics Manager. Prior to this role, Rob was the Head Senior Swim Coach at Glenbrook Aquatics from August 2010 to July 2018 and spent nearly a decade at the Illinois Institute of Technology as Head Swim Coach and Associate Athletic Director. Early career experiences include teaching high school mathematics and coaching swimming at Warren Township High School and Saint Viator High School, as well as founding and coaching at Blue Devil Swim Club. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with an endorsement in Secondary Education from Northern Illinois University.

Oak Brook Park District Mission Statement: To provide the very best in park and recreational opportunities, facilities and open lands for our community. Family Recreation Center: The Family Recreation Center is nestled in the heart of Oak Brook. Located in the park district’s Family Recreation Center is our Aquatic Center, Premiere Fitness Club, and the administrative offices. The facility also houses a hardwood floor gymnasium with three basketball courts. Above the basketball courts is a 1/8 mile running and walking indoor track.
