David Hughes

David Hughes has over three decades of experience in pastoral leadership. Currently serving as Community Pastor at Oak Pointe Church since October 2011, David oversees Discipleship and Outreach in the North Community. Previously, David held the position of Senior Pastor at South Hill Church from February 2000 to October 2011, where responsibilities included managing church operations and focusing on preaching and discipleship. David also served as Senior Pastor at Antioch Baptist Church from February 1992 to December 1999, with similar duties. David holds an Associate's degree in Pastoral Studies/Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, earned from 1989 to 1991.
