Sai Sanigepalli

Sai Sanigepalli is an experienced applied research fellow and embedded engineer at the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education since October 2017, focusing on machine-learning implementations for physical systems. Concurrently, responsibilities include developing autonomous control algorithms as a software developer and data modeler at Berkeley Lab, while also serving as an automation engineer for IOTing Chemical Processes, where retrofitting sensors and visualizing data are key tasks. Additional leadership is demonstrated as product lead for the non-profit Autonomous Power Racing, promoting robotics and machine learning among high school students. Previous roles include research assistant at Berkeley Lab, battery intern at Farasis Energy, software test engineer at Tesla Motors, and data analyst at SalesQuarterbacks, showcasing a broad skill set in engineering, software development, and education. Sai holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
