Dan Klemptner

Dan Klemptner has extensive work experience in legal and educational roles. Dan is currently employed by Oakland County, Michigan Government as the Chief of Labor and Employee Relations since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Corporation Counsel Litigator from July 2020 to December 2022, and as a Senior Assistant Corporation Counsel from November 2019 to June 2020.

Before joining Oakland County, they served as an adjunct faculty member at Oakland Community College starting from September 2015. Prior to that, they worked as an Attorney at Johnson, Rosati, Schultz & Joppich, P.C. from an unspecified start date until November 2019. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Flint from an unspecified start date until 2008.

Dan Klemptner attended Detroit Country Day School from 1994 to 1997. Dan then went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Studies and Spanish from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. Finally, they completed their education by earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Litigation from Cooley Law School, attending from 2002 to 2005.
