Chris Michael

Chris Michael has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Chris started their career at Boeing as a Lead Analyst/ Engineer, where they provided engineering support for projects such as the 787 and 777X. During their time at Boeing, they built an internal analysis team and contributed to cost and scheduling improvements.

After their tenure at Boeing, Chris worked as a Consulting Data Scientist at Metricstory for a short period. Chris then ventured into various industries and enterprises, where they utilized their data-driven leadership and engineering skills to drive transformation and optimize business performance.

In 2017, Chris joined Silverado as Vice President, Finance & Analytics, and was later promoted to Director, Data & Analytics. In these roles, they led an enterprise-wide transformation to align IT with finance and corporate objectives, reduced IT spend while improving stability and security, and built a data warehouse and visualization infrastructure.

In 2021, Chris joined Oakmont Senior Living as VP Finance & Analytics, where they started an in-house IT management team and new hospice company from scratch, managing licensing, GL/HR/IT structure, and providing operational support.

Currently, Chris is working at Heartford Hospice as VP Finance & Analytics.

Chris Michael has a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, which was obtained in an unspecified year before 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona in 2005. In addition to their formal education, Chris has obtained certifications in "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python" and "Computational Investing, Part I" from Coursera in November 2014.
