Onida Coward Mayers

Onida Coward Mayers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government affairs, voter assistance, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Chief Government Affairs Officer at Oaktree Solutions since January 2024, Onida also holds the position of Senior Vice President at The MirRam Group since January 2019 and has contributed as the Director of Voter Assistance, NYC Votes for the New York City Campaign Finance Board since January 2011, focusing on multilingual voter initiatives for over 2.4 million eligible voters. Additionally, Onida is a board member of the NAACP Brooklyn Branch, supporting civic engagement and fundraising efforts, and is involved with Jack and Jill of America’s Brooklyn chapter. Previous leadership roles include Executive Director of the NYC Voter Assistance Commission and Founding Director of Brooklyn Community Access Television. Onida holds an MBA in Communications from Baruch College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Buffalo State University.
