Tom Hutchison has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Tom started their career as an MBA intern at Brown-Forman in 2007, where they analyzed pricing structures for the Southern Comfort brand. Afterward, they held positions at Brown-Forman, including Assistant Manager of Shopper & Consumer Insights and Manager of Shopper & Channel Marketing Intelligence.

In 2012, Tom joined Raley's as the Director of Marketing, Customer Experience, CRM, & Analytics. Tom led a team responsible for loyalty programs, personalized marketing, digital marketing, customer analytics, and ecommerce. During their tenure, they managed partnerships with Google, Apple, Dunnhumby, and other industry leaders.

Tom then moved to Kronikl, Inc. in 2014, where they served as President, Product Leader, and Co-Founder. Kronikl was a social media company focused on providing a private and secure platform for sharing content and saving memories. Tom also served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

From 2015 to 2018, Tom worked at Merchants Distributors, LLC as the Senior Director of Digital Transformation, Innovation, and Retail Services. In this role, they oversaw the wholesale grocery store distributor's digital transformation efforts and retail services.

Following their time at Merchants Distributors, Tom joined Sprouts Farmers Market as the Vice President of Marketing and Customer Engagement. Tom led the go-to-market strategy and customer strategy for the fast-growing retail company.

In 2021, Tom took a sabbatical but later joined The Alkaline Water Company Inc. as the Chief Marketing Officer. There, they achieved significant growth for the functional beverage company, developed brand and consumer strategies, and spearheaded the company's direct-to-consumer and digital experiences.

Most recently, Tom worked as the VP of Marketing at Jockey International, Inc. starting in 2023.

Tom Hutchison completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. Tom then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Purdue University from 2006 to 2008, specializing in Corporate Strategy, Marketing, and Operations. In 2007, Tom also obtained a Certificate in Business & The Public Policy Process from The Washington Campus. Additionally, they participated in an Executive Leadership Development program at Cornell University in 2016.

In terms of certifications, Tom completed the BLG Proactive Negotiation Program from Bacharach Leadership Group in 2016. Tom also completed a Negotiation Training course titled "The Power of Nice: How to Negotiate So Everyone Wins - Especially You!" at the Shapiro Negotiations Institute in 2007. Tom further obtained a certification in "Business and the Public Policy Process" from The Washington Campus in 2007. Finally, they completed a certification program titled "Jane Maas Brand Building - Brand Building and Effective Agency Management" in 2010, although the institution is unspecified.
