Kelsey McCarthy has a diverse work experience in various industries. Kelsey started their career as an Event Manager Intern at Sinkland Farms in 2010, where they researched and created a business plan for the farm. In 2011, they worked as a Junior Account Associate at Chic Communications, a boutique firm specializing in PR and marketing.
In 2013, Kelsey joined Event Concepts as a Sales Manager, working on event management projects in the Chesapeake Bay region. Later that year, they transitioned to a role at City Experiences as an Account Manager & Social Team Leader. They achieved consistent sales growth and were promoted to Director of Sales, where they managed a group sales team and exceeded revenue targets.
At City Experiences, Kelsey went on to become the Director of Group Sales and successfully reorganized the sales team after a merger. They then took on the role of General Manager, overseeing four departments and leading a team of six direct and 400 indirect reports. Under their leadership, the team won the City of the Year Award in Washington D.C.
Kelsey's most recent work experience is as the Vice President of Sales at Oasis Marinas, starting in 2023.
