Michelle Stephens, PhD, CPNP, RN has a diverse work experience. Michelle is currently a Co-Founder at Oath Care since September 2019. From June 2019 to December 2019, they worked as a Research Scientist at the University of California, San Francisco - School of Medicine, where they coordinated the Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-Up (ABC) Intervention Study.

Prior to that, Michelle worked at UCSF from 2014 to 2019, first as a Graduate Research Assistant from May 2014 to September 2019, and then as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2017 to March 2018. In these roles, they assisted in various research projects and taught biostatistics to PhD students.

Michelle worked at The University of Maryland Medical System from January 2008 to December 2010, with a brief period as a Pediatric Intensive Care Travel Registered Nurse from January 2008 to June 2008. Prior to that, they worked at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from August 2006 to December 2007.

Overall, Michelle's work experience includes research, teaching, clinical practice as a nurse practitioner, and direct patient care as a registered nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit.

Michelle Stephens, PhD, CPNP, RN completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Science from Georgetown University in 2006. From 2008 to 2010, they pursued further studies and obtained a Master's degree in Nursing Science from The Johns Hopkins University. In 2019, Michelle completed their academic journey by achieving a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing Science from the University of California, San Francisco.
