Mark Schaffer

Mark Schaffer is the Owner and President of Schaffer Environmental LLC, providing independent consultancy services in Standards Development, Program Management, and Environmental Technologies since January 2008. Mark has extensive experience in environmental consulting, particularly focusing on greener procurement standards for the electronics industry and sustainability initiatives. In addition to this role, Mark serves as a Facilitator for OBADA and a Technology and Program Management Consultant for iNEMI, where responsibilities include establishing project management guidelines and guiding R&D initiatives. Previous positions include Environmental Programs Manager at Dell Inc., where leadership in environmental compliance and eco-design was a primary focus, as well as roles in product development and engineering. Mark also manages a photography venture, Knowsphotos, specializing in various genres of photography and conducting workshops. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Material Science & Engineering from North Carolina State University.
